“Whether diving into the sea or into their studies, аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±½á¹û2023 students are filled with school spirit,” the guide reads.
Compiled by former New York Times education editor Edward B. Fiske, the publication has served as an authoritative source for college-bound students and their parents for more than 40 years, highlighting the nation’s “best and most interesting” colleges and universities.
The guide highlights the university's strong programs, including marine biology, chemistry, ecology, film studies, creative writing, nursing, business administration and communication studies. It also features more recent additions to the academic catalog including respiratory therapy, digital arts and coastal engineering.
“Students enjoy extensive undergraduate research opportunities, a slate of solid sciences and...the university’s proximity to the ocean provides motivated students with ample opportunities for fun in the sun and a natural lab for the school’s stellar marine biology program,” it reads.
